America’s Got Talent and National News

I was a contestant this year on Season 5 of America’s Got Talent.  I past the Portland audition and made it to Vegas, but unfortunately my journey ended there.

This video was posted by a friend in Las Vegas          http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5rMFiIxnS8

On March 30th I was the subject of a story featured on NBC Nightly News

Local KGW LIVE AT 7:  (local newscast on the same night)  http://www.kgw.com/thesquare/SoldierMagician-Scott-Anderson-makes-a-difference-89569557.html

  1. Hello Scott,
I saw you on Nightly News with Brian Williams tonight, and I thought they said you were from Canby, Oregon? Is that true? I used to live there when I was a little girl, and my grandfather was Mayor (Rex Eversole), when I was a baby. It’s wonderful that you spread some joy to those children overseas…I’m sure they appreciate it so much, we have so much here.
    God Bless You!

  2. Libby Horn says:

I saw you tonight with Brian Williams. You are awesome. I am a 20-year Air Force veteran, now retired. My son-in-law is currently in Afghanistan with the Army. Every night, I watch the news to keep up with what is going on in Afghanistan. I was so pleasantly surprised tonight when I saw you on TV. You are a true American hero. Thank you for your service. You have gone above and beyond, and I, for one, greatly appreciate it! God Bless you and your family. Best wishes from a retired mom and grandma!

Your service to our country is admirable in today’s society (I’m sure if you wanted you could have found a way out).
